Doo Hong Lee
As a researcher at the National Institute of Ecology in South Korea, Doo hong conducted practical conservation planning utilizing environmental resources to improve ecological diversity. Doo hong’s work aims to restore damaged ecosystems based on connecting corridors (e.g. streams, mountains, and forests) in the landscape. Through his BLA and MLA courses he has learned that people usually make choices that are beneficial to them instead of to the environment, so he believes that landscape architects play a key role in creating spaces where wildlife and people can co-exist peacefully. For this reason, he decided to expand his knowledge and experience through interdisciplinary studies at Utah State University.
