Jessica grew up in St. George, Utah, with her mother and grandparents. She began her studies at Utah State University in 2014. During the midst of her studies, she chose to serve a mission in Boston, Massachusetts, speaking Portuguese.
With close family members who have lived in Singapore and Thailand, she has been exposed to a variety of living environments across the world. She has come to the conclusion that the atmosphere of a place induces deep psychological and emotional effects, and through the field of landscape architecture she aspires to create peaceful and comfortable spaces that will benefit individuals and communities.
