Lara Gale is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Bioregional Planning and a Master of Landscape Architecture first professional degree. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with an emphasis in conflict resolution. Her background includes energy management in residential construction, commercial construction project management, and sustainable chicken egg farming. She served 14 years in the Air Force and Army Reserve and deployed twice in roles working with the effects of military activity on civil societies, experiences which inform her academic and personal passion for resilient design and democratic processes. You will find her somewhere outside or in a kitchen or in a yoga studio trying to figure out how to do cool things in her free time.
