An interdisciplinary team of USU students with faculty advisor Jake Powell, in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning, in collaboration with faculty in the departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Watershed Science, won third place for their submission in the national Campus RainWorks Challenge.

The challenge is a green infrastructure design competition open to students at American universities and colleges who propose innovative and visionary green infrastructure projects for managing stormwater on their campus.
